Welcome back. There are all kinds of ways to bring a wrestler back from a hiatus as there and a lot of those methods are stars returning from injury. That could be advertised in advance but occasionally you will see a wrestler show up again as a surprise after being gone for a long time. That was the case again this week as an injured star made her long awaited return.

The opening match of this week’s NXT saw Roxanne Perez defending the Women’s Title against Giulia. Late in the match, Perez attempted to bring in the title belt, allowing a woman in a hood to take Giulia out, leading to Perez winning the match to retain the title. The woman was revealed to be Cora Jade, who had been out of action since January 12 after a torn ACL. This week’s NXT took place in Jade’s hometown of Chicago.
It was a big deal. Check out Jade’s return and time in NXT:

Opinion: This is a surprise that did come out of nowhere as Jade has not been mentioned in a long enough time that she was becoming forgotten. It made for a shocking moment and having Jade back boosts up the women’s division. She had never made it to the top of the division but she could be a firm hand, which is always something that any division can use on its roster.
What did you think of the return? What is next for Jade in NXT? Let us know in the comments below.
