New ROH World Television Champion Komader has shared his tale of nearly dying twice as an infant, following his victory at Final Battle 2024.

Komander dethroned Brian Cage in the Hammerstein Ballroom in a match that included Willie Mack, Mark Davis, AR Fox, and Blake Christian.

Speaking after his victory on the post-show media scrum, Komander reflected on being a fighter since his first days. He said,

“First and foremost, I want to thank Tony Khan. I'm very grateful. I believe my faith has attracted amazing people in my life. In my world, I have to give everything in order for the world to give back. I believe it stems from, I was a premature baby, a lot of people don't know this, I almost died twice.

“That's a very heavy burden that I do not taken lightly. I believe I have to keep going and help others and live my dream and passion to give back. I'm never going to give up. I'm going to keep going and keep trying and keep working.”

Komander made his ROH debut at Supercard of Honor 2023, where he unsuccessfully challenged then-AAA Mega Champion El Hijo Del Vikingo.

In AEW, Komander has been competing in this year’s Continental Classic, replacing the injured Juice Robinson. He was eliminated with zero points.
