Orlando, FL (November 3, 2023) Friday night in Orlando, FL, Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC),The World's Fastest Growing Combat Sports Promotion presented BKFC-53, a sensational ten-bout event in front of a packed house at the Orange County Convention Center.

Fighting in the main event, David 'The Redneck' Mundell, (8-1) successfully defended his BKFC Middleweight World Title with a second-round stoppage of previously undefeated, #2 Ranked Challenger Doug 'CodeRed' Coltrane, (3-1).

Dropping Coltrane with a big left hand in the opening stanza, the southpaw Mundell would aggressively pressure the challenger to open the second round. Sending Coltrane to the canvas again, Mundell earned the victory as Coltrane would not beat the count. Time of the stoppage was 1:23 of the second round.

Said the victorious Mundell, "I started a little slow due to his height and length but I was able to sort that out and hurt him. Where you at Mike Perry?"

In the highly anticipated co-feature, BKFC fan favorite Julian 'Let Me Bang' Lane, (5-7), stopped Murat Kazgan, (1-1) in an action-packed welterweight clash. Recovering from being dropped in the second round from the heavy-handed Kazgan, Lane would be declared the victor when the ringside physician stopped the bout in the third round (1:53) due to a bad cut over Kazgan's right eye.

"I'm very thankful to be back here at home in BKFC," said Lane following the fight. "I'm the real King of Violence."

Fighting in the heavyweight division, southpaw Sawyer Depee, (4-2), knocked out Jonathan Miller, (2-1), at the end of the first round with a massive left hand.

Competing in an excellent light heavyweight battle, Diego Romo, (0-0-1) and Ravon Baxter, (1-1-1) fought to a majority draw. Romo was able to work his way back into the fight after being dropped in the second round. Scores were 48-46 for Romo and 47-47 twice.

BKFC debuting featherweight Nathan Rivera, (1-0), impressed quickly with a first-round knockout of James Hyder, (0-2). A vicious right to the body knocked Hyder to the canvas. Time of the stoppage was 1:21.

Light heavyweight Mike Heckert (1-0), dominated and stopped Scott Lampert, (0-1), earning the victory at :53 of round two. Lampert was knocked down three times in the first round before the corner stoppage.

Kicking off the main card, BKFC newcomer Dagoberto Aguero, (1-0) thrilled the crowd with a third-round stoppage of Chancey Wilson, (3-3) in their flyweight division battle. Both fighters displayed excellent bare-knuckle skill sets prior to Aguero's one punch knockout.

Fighting in the prelims, featherweight Michael Larrimore improved to 2-0 with a first-round stoppage of Justin Watson, (0-2). Time of the stoppage was 1:01.

In the cruiserweight division Jeff Janvier, (1-0), earned the stoppage (1:09) of Devonte Jeffrey, (0-1) with a barrage of unanswered right hands in the second round.

Southpaw Ja'Farr Fortt, (3-0) made quick work of welterweight Aaron Sutterfield, (0-1) with a left-right combination stopping the fight at :28 of the first round.
