Roman Reigns Thanks Georgia Tech Football Coach, Muhammad Hassan Talks WWE Character

On last week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Roman Reigns and Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes met in the middle of the Georgia Tech football field for a face-to-face conversation.

Reigns previously played as a defensive tackle at Georgia Tech and was named First-Team All-ACC.

Taking to Twitter, Reigns thanked Georgia Tech football coach Brent Key. You can check out his tweet below:

During a recent appearance on Maven's YouTube channel, Muhammad Hassan commented on being concerned over his move from the WWE RAW brand to SmackDown in 2005. He said,

"Shawn [Daivari] and I were moved from RAW to SmackDown and I remember being vocal about it. I've said this before anything ever happened to Stephanie McMahon, that [SmackDown] was on network and [Raw] was on cable. I just felt like my character was getting more and more edgy and I remember expressing my concern that moving that character to a network show was ultimately going to be bad for the character. Either we got to tone it down or that character is not going to fly."
