Daniel Garcia Praises FTR For Helping Him In AEW, Chris Jericho Talks Mistico

Daniel Garcia says FTR has helped him tremendously during his time in AEW.

While speaking with Denise Salcedo, Garcia lavished praise on the AEW tag team for helping him find his footing again when he was directionless after the Jericho Appreciation Society's split. He said,

"I think the person who's helped me the most in AEW, as far as like advice and things like that, has been FTR. FTR has been amazing to me, when I was kind of, like, floundering after the JAS stuff, I really didn't know what was going to be the next move for me. I was kind of confused, I didn't know what to do. It was their idea, 'Hey, like, you should come on Collision, we think we could have something for you over here.’"

He continued, "I went on Collision, that's when I started the Continental Classic run and I started to really pick up momentum again. I owe so much to FTR, they're amazing people."

Chris Jericho says there may be additional matches with Mistico after tonight's CMLL 91 Aniversario event.

During a press conference to promote the match, Jericho expressed his desire to face Mistico in a Hair vs. Mask match. He said,

"Once again, I think the interest for this match has been massive. This show's been sold-out for a month. So there's no reason why we can't do more matches together."

He continued, "Of course, he says he's down for it, but after tonight, when I beat the living hell out of him and leave all of his fans crying, he might change his mind. So maybe we should get through tonight first, see how he feels when he's in the hospital, and maybe he might change his mind."
