Turkey decision to join Italy for joint Euro 2032 bid leaves British and Irish proposal sole 2028 contender

The Italian Football Federation and the Turkish Football Federation are to merge their individual bids into one joint effort to host the Euro 2032 tournament - opening the way for a joint British and Irish bid for the Euro 2028 event to go ahead as originally envisaged.
