Emotional Imane Khelif takes legal action after medical report leaks

Controversy continues to surround Imane Khelif. After her medical reports were allegedly leaked, Khelif is taking legal action to yet again defend her case.
The Algerian boxer managed to take home gold at the 2024 Olympics, dominating the opposition on the way to victory. Though her entire time in Paris caused an uproar, her one-sided win over Italian Angela Carini sparked the most outrage among fans.
For the first time since her Olympics campaign, the public has been on her case. Earlier this week, a report surfaced claiming that proof had been found regarding the 25-year-old's gender.
Imane Khelif has been desperately defending her case for some time, but the leaked medical report insisted she doesn't have a uterus and instead has internal testicles.
It didn't take long for Khelif to hit back at the claims. With the help of her team, the African native has taken legal action and hopes to clarify anything she sees as misinformation about her.
A spokesperson from the International Olympic Committee has since spoken out regarding the situation.
"We understand that Imane Khelif has taken legal action against individuals who commented on her situation during the Olympic Games Paris 2024, and is also preparing a lawsuit in response to the latest reporting," Insisted the IOC spokesperson.
"The IOC will not comment while legal action is ongoing, or on media reports about unverified documents whose origin cannot be confirmed..."
"The IOC is saddened by the abuse that Imane Khelif is currently receiving." Said the spokesperson as he concluded his comment.
Despite her plea of innocence, many are continuing to bash the boxer and insist she shouldn't be allowed to compete in the women's side of the sport. Some believe she should be forced to return her Olympic gold medal following the recent news.

Is Imane Khelif a man?
Competing in the women's side of boxing, Imane Khelif has received backlash for allegedly being born a male.
Many assumed Khelif was transgender, which was later disproved. However, new reports have come to light that states the Olympian was born without a uterus and has internal testicles, as previously mentioned.
Alongside that report, it is believed that an MRI scan has discovered that Khelif has a micropenis that resembles an enlarged clitoris.
While it remains unclear, the damning evidence found, if true, will likely see Khelif stripped of the gold medals she has claimed in the Olympics and elsewhere.
