UFC Atlanta video: Jose Ochoa flattens Cody Durden with brutal knockout punch in 2nd round

Jose Ochoa gave Cody Durden a rough night for his homecoming at UFC Atlanta after scoring a brutal knockout in the second round.
Following a back-and-forth war through the first five minutes, Ochoa came out firing in the second and he immediately clipped Durden with a stiff left hand. With Durden wobbled and backing up, Ochoa unleashed another devastating left that dropped his opponent to the canvas in violent fashion.
Ochoa followed up with a couple more strikes but the fight was already over with the referee rushing into stop the contest at just 11 seconds into the second round.

"I'm too happy to put my words together," Ochoa said after the win. "It's awesome to have my first victory here. My fight game was absolutely perfect."
It was a very impressive showing from Ochoa, who stepped into enemy territory with Durden hailing from Georgia and hoping to get the crowd behind him during the fight.
Instead, it was Ochoa's pinpoint accuracy and relentless pressure that paid off in the fight, although Durden definitely landed his own shots during the first round. That all changed in the second, however, with Ochoa just coming after Durden with full aggression and the punching power to put him away with rapid-fire strikes.
The win moves Ochoa to 8-1 in his career while delivering on his first finish in the UFC after dropping a decision in his debut this past November.
