Tom Aspinall has a gigantic hurdle in front of him at UFC 321.

The UFC heavyweight champion puts his belt on the line against Ciryl Gane on Oct. 25 at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. Aspinall, who was awarded the UFC belt when Jon Jones retired, hasn't competed since he defeated Curtis Blaydes on July 27, 2024.

It won't be the only championship at stake on the main card. Virna Jandiroba and Mackenzie Dern will compete for the vacant strawweight crown after Zhang Weili jumped to flyweight to take on Valentina Shevchenko.

Umar Nurmagomedov (18-1) tries to bounce back from his first career defeat against UFC champion Merab Dvalishvili when he faces Mario Bautista in a bantamweight contest. Bautista has won 8 straight fights.

The other two fights on the UFC 321 main card will be a heavyweight contest between Alexander Volkov and Jailton Almeida as well as a light heavyweight battle between Aleksandar Rakic vs. Azamat Muzakanov.
