Since becoming a monetary source in 2009, Bitcoin has divided opinion, but despite the doubts, the cryptocurrency has now reached a huge milestone.

Bitcoin has enjoyed great success in recent years, breaking barriers that were thought unbreakable. From pricing that was 1000 times less than the USD to now shattering the $100k mark, UFC fighters made their thoughts known on such a monumental day.

Arguably the most excited about the news was former UFC challenger Ben Askren. Askren posted several times on social media, each one celebrating the rise of Bitcoin.

"$100k baby," Askren rejoiced at the news of Bitcoin reaching its milestone. "

"You idiots need to understand, Bitcoin is the greatest money human beings have ever invented. And you need to get on this train or you're going to get left behind. $100k baby, let's go!"

Darren Till joined in on the festivities. The former UFC title challenger urged fans to listen to him as he predicted it months ago.

Renato Moicano has been a strong supporter of Bitcoin and, like many others, believes it is the future. As news dropped of the cryptocurrency breaking $100k, Moicano's close friend and fellow MMA veteran Gilbert Burns reminded him on X.

Arguably the greatest women's mixed martial artistย ever also posted about the achievement. Cris Cyborg shared a brief message on social media to celebrate the events.

While they didn't post personally, many current and former UFC standouts reposted others in reaction to the news.ย

Bitcoin has received much support in the UFC and MMA community, with a large selection of fighters publicly endorsing the digital currency.

Sinceย Donald Trump won the November election to become the 47th president of the United States, Bitcoin has seen an astounding 50% rise in its value.

Bitcoin users are now looking to what's next. Ben Askren believes the possibilities are endless and made his thoughts known online.
