Khabib Nurmagomedov's ice cold prediction for street fight with UFC nemesis Conor McGregor

Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor shared the most bitter rivalry in UFC history.
They remain two of the best lightweights of all time years after the peak of their MMA careers.
Khabib Nurmagomedov won by submission when they fought at UFC 229 in October 2018. Since then, ‘The Eagle’ has angered Conor McGregor by retiring from fighting without granting him a mega-money rematch.
Now all fans can dream of is the two UFC legends bumping into each other on the streets so they can finally settle their long-running beef, which popped off again after Usman Nurmagomedov beat Paul Hughes at PFL Champion Series 1 last weekend.
Khabib Nurmagomedov predicts Conor McGregor street fight
So, how would Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Conor McGregor play out in the street?
Amazingly, that’s a question the 29-0 Russian phenom answered in August 2018, when a reporter informed him that he was in New York at the same time as ‘Notorious’.
“Fight,” Nurmagomedov bluntly said when asked what happens if he bumps into McGregor.
He added: “We fight. Of course, we're gonna fight.
“Brother, I never lose a fight in the street.
“How many times [has] he tapped? How many times? He's a tap machine.
“You know, if we meet somewhere, we are gonna fight 100 percent.
“I don't care about him. If they want a money fight, pay me money.”
When will Conor McGregor make his comeback?
More than four years after retiring, Nurmagomedov is showing no signs of wanting to make a comeback.
In contrast, McGregor has talked about nothing but fighting during his time on the sidelines due to injury.
The 36-year-old Irishman hasn’t fought since breaking his leg at UFC 264 in July 2021.
As of late, he’s been trying to build hype for a $500 million boxing exhibition bout with Logan Paul.
Unfortunately, his efforts have been for nothing as the crossover fight has been shut down by Dana White. The UFC boss insists his biggest star will return to the Octagon during the last few months of 2025.
"No," White replied when asked if McGregor was going to fight Paul during an appearance on the Pardon My Take podcast.
"No, no, no," White added when the prospect of McGregor vs KSI was brought up.
"Hopefully, Conor McGregor returns in the fall of this year."
