Islam Makhachev Will Not Be Defending His 155-Pound Title Again Until March 2024

Despite reports that we could be seeing a lightweight title rematch between Islam Makhachev and Charles Oliveira early into the new year, it now seems that Makhachev will not be fighting until March, at the earliest. Following his first round knockout of Alexander Volkanovski last month at UFC 294, the MMA community has been excited to find out when the 155-pound king will defend his title again.
