Deontay Wilder vs Francis Ngannou would pit possibly the two most powerful punchers in boxing history against one another in a truly epic encounter.

The idea of watching the warriors launch bombs, knowing the second one of them lands, somebody would be unconsious, would undeniably leave fans on the edge of their seats.

Therefore, with Ngannou claiming Dana White is a ‘massive obstacle’ in making an MMA clash with Jon Jones, a return to the squared circle could be exactly what the doctor ordered.

And it’s fair to say one former UFC heavyweight would love nothing more than to witness ‘The Predator’ and ‘The Bronze Bomber’ go toe-to-toe.

Brendan Schaub wants Francis Ngannou to fight Deontay Wilder

Brendan Schaub would revel in the opportunity to sit front and center and watch Francis Ngannou and Deontay Wilder exchange shots.

And while he favors the former WBC champion to get the victory, he’s spotted a weakness in his game, which he thinks the Cameroonian could exploit.

In a video uploaded to his YouTube channel, ‘Big Brown’ said: “He can jump back into boxing. Him vs Wilder — take my money. That’s the fight I’ve been shouting for from the rooftops since he came over to the PFL.

“Wilder hits like a Mack truck. His defense isn’t the best, so Francis has a better opportunity to win. Francis is still an underdog in that fight, don’t get it twisted.

“Deontay has been in there; he’s just a pure boxer. His heavyweight run, which is over, is one of the greatest of all time. One of my favorite fighters of all time, absolutely adore Deontay Wilder, worked with him many times, I f—— love the dude.

“Francis would still be an underdog in that fight, not as much as [he was against] Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.

“For Francis, he probably has one or two left. If he gets knocked out in this one, it’s probably over. But, he’s making all the money that’s what we want.”

Daniel Cormier fears for Francis Ngannou in potential Deontay Wilder fight

While Schaub hopes Wilder vs Ngannou comes to fruition, Daniel Cormier certainly hopes it doesn’t.

The former two-weight world champion, watched both of the MMA star’s bouts inside the ring, and came away with mixed opinions.

Utilizing his analytical skills, Cormier has revealed the major reason he doesn’t want Ngannou to face Wilder in boxing.
