Brock Lesnar had the perfect response when Dana White dissed pro wrestling 10 years ago.

By that point, ‘The Beast Incarnate’ had completed his initial run in MMA’s premier promotion.

Consecutive knockout losses to Cain Velasquez and Alistair Overeem had sent him back to the WWE.

However, Brock Lesnar was forced to talk about his old UFC boss after he angered pro wrestling fans by dismissing the sport as ‘fake’ in a viral social media post.

Brock Lesnar responds to Dana White’s ‘fake’ comment

In August 2015, Lesnar was asked to react to White’s thoughts on the WWE during an interview.

The multi-sport legend gave a refreshingly honest answer that shocked everyone who heard it.

“Well, of course, Dana, it's fake," Lesnar told SportsCenter.

“Everybody knows that, but it's still the same. You're promoting the same thing we're promoting.

“Dana White is promoting fights, we're promoting fights. It just so happens that we get a little more longevity out of our fight and out of our fighters because of the circumstances.

“It is a staged arena, everybody knows that. If you can't turn WWE on Monday night and get something outta that show and be entertained, there's something wrong with you.

“Dana, probably, in his defence, is promoting fighting – but it's the same thing. He's trying to sell pay-per-views. He's trying to sell money fights. It's the same racket."

“It’s non-rehearsed, absolutely. I mean, the business model is the same. It’s identical, and I think Vince [McMahon] is better at it than Dana, and that might rub Dana up the wrong way.”

Will Brock Lesnar ever return to the UFC?

White’s comments weren’t enough to stop Lesnar from working with him again.

The former UFC heavyweight champion was brought back for a fight with Mark Hunt in 2016.

Lesnar picked up a routine unanimous decision win over ‘The Super Samoan’ at UFC 200.

However, the result was later overturned to a no-contest after Lesnar failed a drug test.

Almost 11 years later, Lesnar hasn’t fought in MMA again, but there’s still talk of another comeback.

Last year, White was forced to address the WWE icon’s future amid rumors of a return at UFC 300.

“I think Brock’s done. I don’t think he ever comes back,” the UFC CEO said.

At 47 years old, it seems certain that we will never see Lesnar inside the UFC Octagon ever again.
