Adidas Originals return to golf with iconic 'Gazelle' shoe highlighting new collection

The weather is getting warmer, the days longer and golf courses are busier.
Adidas is matching the upbeat golfing vibes by rolling out the return of an Adidas Originals Golf collection, with all pieces available on their website, app and selected retailers on April 3.
They’re bringing back the iconic Trefoil logo to the sport as they style it back to the 70s and 80s in line with the current trend of taking fashionable streetwear to the golf course.
We’ve seen the likes of Jason Day and Charley Hull challenging the norms with their exuberant Malbon Golf fashion statements on the course, with Adidas keen to join the party and hop on the streetwear train.
It’s the way that on-course attire is shifting, with the stereotypical slim trousers and a polo no longer the conditions for entry in the sport that’s deeply routed with tradition.
Those who style Adidas Originals footwear off the course can now sport a pair on the greens with the introduction of some new and updated old school options in their offering.
What will be in the drop?
On every high street, bar or social event, you will no doubt see people rocking Adidas Gazelles in all different standout colourway options.
For the first time, the iconic staple of Adidas streetwear will be available in men’s and women’s varieties – keeping their fashionable look with the added cushioning and adiwear spikeless sole that makes the brand’s golf shoes so dependable.
They’ve combined style with practicality with the Gazelle profile including a drop in EVA cushioning and a waterproof suede upper that is classy yet effective.
The range will also see Adidas making updates to some of their most popular staples, namely the Stan Smith and Samba with a genuine leather upper to finish off their ever-recognisable look.
In addition, those who are a fan of the Adidas Superstar Golf will see another colourway with an unreleased white, green and yellow option coming in with the anticipated drop.
It’s not just footwear
While the footwear is garnering the most excitement, the Adidas Originals revamp doesn’t stop there.
Those who want out of the traditional, one-dimensional golf trouser chino and collared polo shirt will be waiting to add their pick of the fashionable quarter zips, jumpers and pleated golf trousers as well as knit polo shirts that align with tradition whilst packing that extra punch.
Their women’s clothing options will include an Originals dress, pleated skort, jumper and a range of polos in a collection that will truly offer everybody some golf attire that will turn heads on the course this summer.
To top it off, the collection will be finished with a variety of practical yet cool accessories with belts, gloves, towels and even an Adidas Originals golf bag on the way!
