Israil Madrimov says he was not 100 percent for his fight with Vergil Ortiz Jr. as he lost a unanimous decision: 115-113, 115-113, and 117-111. Madrimov missed out on the WBC Interim Junior Middleweight Title, which would have made him mandatory for Sebastian Fundora’s title. It was the second defeat of Madrimov’s career following his other loss to Terence Crawford in the fight before.
