Canelo Alvarez and William Scull faced off for the first time a short time ago and some things are of note instantly.
It won’t be the first time boxing star Canelo Alvarez gets in the boxing ring with a much bigger foe.
Cuban Scull is the IBF super-middleweight champion of the world and his tale of the tape is:
- Height: 6 feet 1 inch (185 cm)
- Reach: 75½ inches (192 cm)
Alvarez in that regard is:
- Height: 5 feet 7½ inches (171 cm)
- Reach: 70½ inches (179 cm)
The two will fight on May 3rd on the big Mexican weekend holiday.
The fight will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
It is understood if Alvarez wins he will then take on pound for pound boxing star Terence Crawford in a super fight in September.
