PFL Africa arrives earlier than expected.
The league's first-ever event on the continent has been moved from July 26 to July 19, PFL announced Tuesday.

PFL Africa takes place at GrandWest Arena in Cape Town, South Africa, and is actually comprised of two events. The latter event is a PFL Champions Series: Road to Dubai show, which is headlined by middleweight champion Johnny Eblen defending his title against Costello van Steenis.
In the co-main event, undefeated flyweight star Dakota Ditcheva fights Sumiko Inaba.
The first part of the show, officially PFL Africa 1, features the start of the league's Africa region tournaments as heavyweights and bantamweights are in action. See that lineup below.

Oddly, Tuesday's schedule change puts PFL in direct competition with UFC 318, which is headlined by a trilogy bout between Max Holloway and Dustin Poirier in what is being billed as Poirier's retirement fight.
