A man has filed a new lawsuit against WWE and the UFC, claiming that Vince McMahon appropriated his ideas after he entered into a "verbal agreement" with WWE.
Leland Owens filed a lawsuit in September asserting that he had a verbal agreement with WWE Yakima Lower Valley, Washington, in which he provided them with "ideas"for which he was never compensated.
Pwinsider is reporting that Owens has filed a revised version of the lawsuit after earlier iterations were dismissed for failing to address financial matters adequately.
According to the report, the new lawsuit, filed on November 4, reiterates several allegations from the prior suit.
Among these are claims that Stephanie McMahon made remarks about Owens' daughter that resulted in him being offered a "hush money" payment by Daniel Bryan (named as such in the lawsuit and not Bryan Danielson) along with Mercedes Mone, whom he alleges were acting as "WWE agents."
In the handwritten complaint, Owens asserts that he gave Vince McMahon ideas and seeks $500,000,000 in damages. The lawsuit was submitted by mail on October 10 and was recorded by the court on November 4.
WWE has yet to respond to any of the allegations.
