The Latest Update On Wardlow's AEW Status

It’s been several months since Wardlow last appeared on AEW television.

Wardlow’s stint at AEW has involved periods of getting opportunities and then having them taken away. There was a moment when it seemed like he would have a significant rivalry with Adam Cole, but those plans have been put on hold as Cole is currently shelved.

Many people in AEW believe that Wardlow should be in the main event scene, but there are no plans for him to appear on TV at the moment.

Wardlow was spotted at the Jacksonville Jaguars game on September 15 and seemed to be in good health, so it doesn’t seem like an injury is the reason for his absence from TV.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Wardlow is “just one of those guys not being used.”

Due to its extensive roster, AEW rotates through many wrestlers. While there’s no word on when Wardlow will be reintegrated into creative plans, his last match took place on the March 13th episode of AEW Dynamite.
