It appears we’ll be seeing a surprise on tonight’s episode of WWE NXT.
Fightful Select is reporting that TNA wrestler Alex Hammerstone is backstage at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL for tonight’s WWE NXT TV tapings. WWE is planning a surprise opponent for WWE NXT North American Champion Oba Femi on tonight’s show.
Tony D'Angelo recently paid off a mysterious figure to "take care of" Femi, which is believed to be Hammerstone.
Hammerstone and Femi were spotted practicing together in the ring earlier today.
