WWE is always preparing for their next pay-per-view event, and WrestleMania is always on their radar.

Cody Rhodes, who has been holding the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, is expected to have a strong challenger at WrestleMania 41, and all indications suggest a singles match with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

With The Rock slated to return for WrestleMania 41, his position on the TKO Board of Directors grants him significant influence over his matches.

Now that The Final Boss holds a firm position in the company’s leadership, scheduling himself for WrestleMania 41 is not just a rumor; it’s almost a done deal.

On a recent edition of his "Dirty Sheets" podcast, Billi Bhatti reported that WWE is still planning a match between Cody and The Rock at WrestleMania 41, with only metrics potentially affecting those plans.

Bhatti said, "At the moment Cody Rhodes and The Rock is still the plan for WrestleMania. Now, people may be a little bit lukewarm on the Cody Rhodes title run, I know I am, but plans don't change based on opinions on podcasts and social media, they change based on if metrics are not high enough, ratings are fine."

Fans of Cody played a significant role in WWE’s decision to modify the main event of WrestleMania 40.

Despite The Rock competing at WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia, his scheduled match against Roman Reigns was shelved, and while it could still take place later, it will not happen before his showdown with The American Nightmare.
