Charlotte Flair suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus on the December 8, 2023, episode of WWE SmackDown.

Charlotte later underwent her initial biodex test after sustaining the injury. In June, she even shared a video documenting the experience.

While The Queen has been absent from WWE programming for eight months, she has been recovering steadily following her surgery.

Fightful Select is reporting that Charlotte can still not compete in the ring, and it may be a while before she can do so. Her injuries are considered to be “severe,”and it’s believed that it will be a significant amount of time before she can return to action.

At the start of the year, WWE sources indicated that Charlotte was unlikely to wrestle in 2024 due to the seriousness of her injuries. In February, we reported that she was recovering ahead of schedule, although it was still premature to determine when she could return.

As we previously reported here on eWn, there are creative plans for Charlotte to feud with Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton upon her eventual return to WWE programming.

Moreover, a WWE source mentioned that it is unlikely that additional plans will be made until Charlotte is cleared to compete.
