QT Marshall Had TNA Deal Before Leaving AEW, Will Ospreay Reacts To Ricochet Match

In a recent interview with “Gabby AF,” QT Marshall revealed that he had previously agreed to compete in TNA Wrestling before he left AEW last November.

Marshall later returned to AEW in February of this year.

He said, "I can wrestle for anyone else, obviously besides WWE. Even for a moment there, I was gonna work for TNA and still work for Tony. I was like part, before I even left a year ago, Scott D'Amore and I, we had made an agreement and Tony was gonna help pay for my flights, it was great. Scott didn't reach back out and I was like, 'Hey, what's going on?'. Obviously, he knew what was going to happen so he didn't. But now i'm working for him for Maple Leaf Wrestling in a couple of weeks, so I'm excited about that.”

On this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Will Ospreay faced off against Ricochet, but the match did not produce a clear winner.

Ospreay took to Twitter to address the divided fan reaction, which seemed to be split down the middle on social media.

He wrote, "Man 8 years on and it still sparks emotion out of you guys. I appreciate the love & hate. It's all criticism to take on board to help grow us as performers. But I think more is to come."
