WWE's next pay-per-view event, Bad Blood 2024, will be held on Saturday, October 5, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, GA.

Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes was originally believed to be defending his title against Solo Sikoa at WWE Bad Blood 2024.

However, that is no longer the case, as the match is scheduled for the September 13th edition of WWE SmackDown. Rhodes is still scheduled to compete at the October 5th show.

On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that instead of Solo, The Bloodline’s Jacob Fatu could go 1-on-1 with Cody at Bad Blood 2024.

Meltzer said, "I was told it would not be Solo. It could be Jacob. It's a little early. I don't know. I guess Jacob makes the most sense."

With Solo taking on Cody this week, it remains to be seen if The American Nightmare will end up battling Jacob at WWE Bad Blood 2024 next month.
