Maria Kanellis Unhappy With Current Role With Ring Of Honor

Ring of Honor’s Maria Kanellis-Bennett has spoken up about her opportunities, or lack thereof, as part of Tony Khan’s second promotion.

When a fan suggested that Maria is happy with a “minor role” in ROH with “about 2 mins of TV time,” the First Lady of Wrestling made things clear.

After leaving WWE in 2010, Maria joined ROH in 2011 and was with the company until 2015. She later returned to ROH in 2020 but was among those released in 2021.

Since returning to Ring of Honor, Maria has served as a manager but hasn’t wrestled for ROH since March of 2015.
