Kurt Angle Set For GCW Debut At Dream On Event

Kurt Angle will make his first-ever appearance at a GCW event.

The GCW Dream On event on November 23 will feature Ricky Morton, Matt Cardona, Mance Warner, Masha Slamovich, Effy, Gringo Loco, Sonny Kiss, and Effy, with Angle now being added to the lineup.

GCW announced the news of Angle’s participation on social media. The company tweeted,

In 2019, Angle retired from professional wrestling at WWE WrestleMania 35 after losing to Baron Corbin in a singles match.

The Olympic gold medalist originally wanted to wrestle John Cena in his retirement match, but then-WWE Chairman Vince McMahon disapproved of the idea.

Angle is now following JBL in making an appearance for GCW while under a WWE Legends deal, which is solely for merchandise and likeness purposes and allows talent to accept non-WWE bookings.
