Ken Shamrock Takes Issue With John Cena Calling Roman Reigns The GOAT

John Cena may consider Roman Reigns to be the GOAT of WWE, but former Superstar Ken Shamrock has made his views clear on the title.

Cena has often praised Reigns’ work as a top name, both as a face and as a heel, work that Cena believes eclipses his own contributions.

On a recent edition of “Vlad TV,” Shamrock spoke about Cena’s ‘unfair’ claim and addressed how the ‘GOAT’ can be measured. He said,

“I think it’s unfair. I just… how do you measure that? I just think there’s so many great wrestlers. I would put Rock up there, no question, yeah, absolutely no question.

“I would put John Cena up there. I mean… I would put Shawn Michaels up there. I mean, there’s so many guys that you could put up there and make a great argument.”

Reigns will mark his return to in-ring action at WWE Bad Blood where he will team with Cody Rhodes to take on The Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.

Cena will kick off his retirement tour next year and will reportedly be a prominent part of WWE RAW after the show moves to Netflix.
