Freddie Prinze Jr. wasn’t a big fan of the match between Swerve Strickland and Hangman Page that took place at the AEW All Out 2024 pay-per-view event.

While speaking on a recent edition of his “Wrestling With Freddie” podcast, the former WWE creative team member revealed that he had to look away at times. He said,

"It went through areas that I'm uncomfortable with, that make me look away. I had to look away from the screen. I couldn't watch a needle go through a dude's cheek… I couldn't watch this. I legit had to look away… It was so gruesome, which is what they went for, so congratulations. But 48, getting close to 49, and my weak a** couldn't handle it."

During a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Nic Nemeth commented on the Bryan Danielson vs. Nigel McGuinness match at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam next week and what he’d like to see happen in the build-up to the match. He said,

"I know it's rushed — that happens. Since AEW has three shows every week, put a package on every single one of them until we go. … You know how much those matter, when you have 90 seconds or three minutes here? You get a couple of those and I'll have goosebumps."
