Backstage Update On A Potential Plan For WWE To Revive EVOLVE

There is said to be a lot of potential for EVOLVE to make a return, but it's still in the early stages with no concrete plans confirmed. As we previously reported here on eWn, WWE has had "on and off" talks over the years about bringing back the company, which it bought back in 2020.

Pwinsider is reporting that the idea is "still in play" but that nothing is set in stone at this time.

WWE's interest in reviving EVOLVE makes sense, especially with Gabe Sapolsky being involved. He was a key figure in the brand's original run.

The timing of the ID program being tied to these potential EVOLVE plans is interesting, too.

As of this writing, no dates are listed internally for anything related to EVOLVE. Gabe Sapolsky, who founded EVOLVE and has been handling the WWE ID program, would be in charge of creative for any such revival.
