AJ Styles Says WWE Run Doesn't Feel As Long As It Has

AJ Styles has been a WWE Superstar for close to a decade, but it doesn’t feel as long for the Phenomenal former WWE World Champion.

Styles debuted for WWE as part of the 2016 Royal Rumble match as the #3 entrant and would end that year as WWE Champion.

On a recent edition of the “Superstar Crossover” podcast, Styles reflected on his WWE career thus far as he prepares to embark on his ninth year under contract. He said,

“It’s it doesn’t feel like it’s been [as long as it has]. Going on my ninth year, I kind of fit right in. As soon as I got here and I got established a little bit, I fit right in. You don’t see that too often. There’s a lot of guys that I knew as I was coming into WWE, but there was a lot of guys that I didn’t, It felt like I was right at home once I got started. It’s been a great place to be ever since.”

Styles will compete at this weekend’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view event where he will challenge for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
