AEW & WBD Closing In On TV Deal For Ring Of Honor

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that negotiations between AEW and Warner Bros. Discovery are nearing finalization for a television deal involving Ring Of Honor (ROH).
If this deal proceeds, ROH is expected to air on TruTV, which is currently transitioning into a sports network during prime time and is seeking fresh content.
There is a belief that Chris Jericho’s recent ROH World Title win was to establish him as the face of the brand during these discussions, given that he is the biggest star in all of AEW and ROH.
