WWE News: Randy Orton Expected To Return Soon, Raw-Smackdown Wrestlers Crossing Brands

-- One of WWE's top superstars, Randy Orton, has been out of action since November after being taken out by Kevin Owens.W For those wondering, Orton is fine and has been on a short leave of absence spending time with his family over the holidays, however, he is expected back on WWE TV in the near future and enter into a feud with Owens. While Orton is not planned to return for Monday's Raw debut on Netflix, it is believed that he will be back either at the Royal Rumble or shortly before it.

-- WWE introduced a talent exchange program storyline a few weeks ago and since then we have seen some wrestlers appear on brands they are not officially on, the latest being Raw's Drew McIntyre appearing last night on Smackdown in what could be a permanent move. Fightfulselect.com reported that there will be other Raw wrestlers appearing on the blue brand moving forward and that both brands will continue to see talent crossing over irregularly while others will permanently switch.
