Report: Injury Update On ROH Women's World Champion Athena

Athena is expected to return soon, according to a new report.

The reigning ROH Women’s World Champion has not wrestled since she faced Viva Van at the ROH TV tapings on May 16. There, she reportedly suffered an injury, but further details were unclear.

In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Athena’s ankle injury is not as bad as feared. The champion is expected back in a few weeks.

As of this writing, there is no official word on when Athena will return to AEW/ROH.
