Not For Now: Former Multiple Time WWE World Champion Written Off Television

Get well soon. There are all kinds of reasons to write someone off of a WWE show and some of them can be rather serious. These are often ways to set someone up for a big return down the line, though there are also times that someone needs to be away from the ring for a physical issue. Either way, WWE seems to have written off a rather big name from television for the time being.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:Mostly There: WWE Announces First Match For Fastlane, John Cena Involved

This week on SmackDown, AJ Styles and John Cena were set to sign a contract to face the Bloodline in a tag match at Fastlane. Cena signed, but before Styles could come to the ring and sign as well, the Bloodline attacked him backstage. As a result, Styles was taken out of the arena in an ambulance. It is not clear why Styles was written off of television or when he will be able to return.

Styles is pretty phenomenal when he is around. Check out what is going to be missing from WWE:

Opinion: Hopefully everything is ok with Styles and he is just being taken off of television for the sake of a storyline. You never want to see someone have to leave the show for the time being and what matters most is that he is not hurt in any way. Styles is still one of the better stars in the ring on WWE’s roster and it would be horrible to see him miss more time due to an injury.

What do you think of Styles? How should WWE bring him back? Let us know in the comments below.
