More Backstage News On PCO Shooting On TNA At GCW EventJoey G.

Another update on PCO shooting on TNA during a GCW event.

The industry veteran caused a stir at The People vs. GCW event this past weekend when he pulled out the TNA Digital Media Championship and attempted to destroy it with a sledgehammer following his matchup.

Fightful Select previously reported that PCO was acting on his own, deviating from any planned storyline. He grabbed the microphone to cut a promo, but GCW's ring announcer, Emil Jay, quickly took it from him, and the company cut to a video to end the segment. GCW claimed they were caught off guard by the incident and thought it was part of an upcoming TNA storyline. They soon realized it wasn't.

In an update from Fightful, TNA was reportedly shocked over PCO's actions. He was supposed to finish his run with the company at the next taping in San Antonio, with his contract set to expire at the end of the year. As it stands, TNA does not expect him to return.

TNA is also furious over the situation. The company stated that PCO had used a replica title, not the real championship, which they still possess. Close sources to PCO deny this, claiming he had the real title. It's believed that PCO was frustrated over his contract not being renewed and acted out as a result.
