MJF Rejected by Hurt Syndicate as Lashley Accepts Tag Title Challenge for AEW Dynasty

The April 2 episode of AEW Dynamite rolled through the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria, Illinois. You never know what AEW will bring to Dynamite, and that is extra true when MJF is involved.
The Hurt Syndicate made their way to the ring as the show’s second hour kicked off. Shelton Benjamin couldn’t be there due to thunderstorms across the midwest, but Bobby Lashley and MVP were there.
Before either of them could speak, MJF’s music hit and he made his way to the ring. MJF put over every member of the Hurt Syndicate in a big way, praising each of their accolades, including giving a shout-out to Shelton Benjamin.
MJF then said that the Hurt Syndicate is standing on the blocks he built in AEW. He also said he can help maneuver the backstage area in AEW and help the Hurt Syndicate keep their AEW World Tag Team Titles for as long as they please. He also mentioned that they can help him win the AEW World Title again.
After saying that MJF and the Hurt Syndicate is good business, he bashed the fans in the building. He said that they need MJF, but Bobby Lashley had another way of looking at things. Lashley said that he doesn’t like MJF, but out of respect for MVP, he won’t lay him out right now. He also said that the Hurt Syndicate doesn’t need him, and he told MJF to get out of the ring.
MJF thanked the Hurt Syndicate for their time after saying that they need him to prove himself. Then he left as MVP and Bobby Lashley continued to discuss what just went down amongst themselves.
Big Bill and Bryan Keith came out next to challenge the Hurt Syndicate. They made their point, and then challenged the AEW World Tag Team Champions to a match this Saturday at Dynasty.
Bryan Keith and Big Bill were told by Chris Jericho that they need to prove themselves. The Learning Tree expects results, and now the two will try to topple Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin this Saturday in Philly.
We will have to see what’s next in this story, but it seems that we haven’t seen the end of this situation. Keep checking back with Ringside News for more.
