Final WWE Smackdown On FOX Audience Slammed By NFL Game; AEW Collision Sinks To Record LowJeff WhalenSep 10, 2024 - 2:38 am

-- Friday's WWE Smackdown - the last episode to air on FOX before the show moves to the USA network, plummeted in viewership figures released yesterday. The two-hour program averaged only 1.77 million viewers, making it the least watched regular episode in the five year span that it has aired on FOX. The show drew a 0.45 rating in P18-49, which is the lowest rating in over two years and one of the top ten lowest ever. A likely reason for the low audience is that the show went up against a rare Friday NFL game which drew almost 15 million viewers.

-- AEW Collision viewership followed much the same pattern, dipping to an all-time low 157,000 viewers. The show aired in a new time slot - Friday at 8pm ET and went head-to-head against WWE Smackdown and the NFL game. Collision scored a 0.04 rating in P18-49, which obviously is another record low.

-- AEW Rampage, which aired immediately after Collision in its normal time slot, generated an audience of 233,000 and a rating of 0.08. Both figures are improvements from the prior week.
