WPBSA Chairman Jason Ferguson was among the speakers at the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) earlier this week as he reflected on the continued development of snooker in China.

Held in Beijing, CIFTIS is China's largest exhibition in the field of trade in services and is recognised an essential platform for sharing information and ideas.

During his keynote speech, Ferguson shared the story of snooker's expansion in China and across the globe, which now sees the World Snooker Tour stage over 30 tournaments with 500 million viewers across almost 200 countries.

He also highlighted the six major tournament currents staged across China and the close relationship between the WPBSA and the Chinese Billiards and Snooker Association, which has created a strong structure and provides engagement for people across China with our sport at all levels.
