UFC and PFL veteran Klidson Abreu scored his first win in three years, but he can't be thrilled with the circumstances.

On Friday at an ACA event in Krasnodar, Russia, Abreu (17-6) scored a technical knockout victory after checking a leg kick that sent opponent Adam Bogatyrev tumbling to the mat. It was immediately clear that Bogatyrev had suffered a severe leg injury and the bout was waved off.

Watch the grisly incident below.

The official time of the stoppage was 18 seconds into the opening round.

Neither fighter had much time to get going as Abreu perfectly checked Bogatyrev's leg strike, leading to the finish. When Bogatyrev attempted to plant his leg, it twisted and gave out on him and the heavyweight collapsed to the canvas in pain. Referee Dmitry Valuevich attended to Bogatyrev, who clutched at his leg as they waited for medical staff to assist.

Abreu earns his first win in his second appearance for the Russian promotion. This is his first victory since earning a unanimous decision over Adam Keresh at a PFL event in April 2022.
