Tim Elliott's latest win came with a price.

The veteran flyweight revealed Saturday that he suffered a broken leg in his fight with Kai Asakura at UFC 319 this past August. Elliott won that fight by guillotine choke submission in the second round, but it will be a while before he can follow up on that impressive performance.

Check out Elliott's social media post below, in which he also shared an X-ray of his leg.

"Cat's out of the bag," Elliott wrote. "[Asakura] broke my bitch ass leg when he kicked me in the first round. I'm not ducking [Charles Johnson] that's a fight I like, but it's looking like an eight-week ordeal!

Johnson responded to Elliott's tweet, letting him know he understood and the fighters had a respectful exchange.

Elliott, 38, is likely eager to book a fight as soon as possible as his win over Asakura made it two straight victories and six in his past eight for the 35-fight veteran.
