Former UFC strawweight champion Jessica Andrade will cut back down to 125 pounds for a fight with Loopy Godinez on Aug. 16 at UFC 319, a pay-per-view event scheduled to take place at the United Center in Chicago.

Multiple people with knowledge of the booking confirmed the news to MMA Fighting following a report from Ag. Fight.

UFC 319 will be headlined by a middleweight showdown between champion Dricus Du Plessis and undefeated sensation Khamzat Chimaev.

Andrade (26-14) won her past two bouts at strawweight, knocking out Mackenzie Dern and then claiming a decision against Marina Rodriguez, but enters UFC 319 off of back-to-back defeats to Natalia Silva and Jasmine Jasudavicius at flyweight.

Godinez (13-5) recently beat Julia Polastri via decision in March to rebound from consecutive defeats to Dern and Virna Jandiroba. The former LFA champion is 8-5 since joining the UFC in 2021, a run that includes wins over Tabatha Ricci and Cynthia Calvillo.
