'You can't disrespect him'… Logan Paul accused of insulting boxing community with Mike Tyson threat

Logan Paul has been called out for disrespecting Mike Tyson.
The former undisputed heavyweight champion recently ended his 20-year retirement and went eight rounds with YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul.
'Iron Mike' looked a shell of his former self as he suffered a lopsided unanimous decision defeat against a man who is 27 years old and more than three decades his junior.
Despite everything, the 58-year-old suggested he would fight again in 2025 when he called out Logan Paul immediately after suffering a defeat against the internet celebrity's brother.
Logan Paul accused of disrespecting boxing community
Mike Tyson was polite as he suggested a fight with 'The Maverick'.
However, he was met with hostility from Logan Paul, who responded by aiming a fatal threat at the revered boxing legend.
"I would kill you, Mike," he said.
Former boxing world champion Amir Khan was one of the 60 million people who tuned in to Netflix to watch Tyson's comeback.
The man who fought Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford during his 40-fight career was left with a sour taste in his mouth after seeing the older Paul brother treat Tyson with such disdain.
“Would Logan Paul have said the same thing to Mike Tyson back in his twenties? No, you wouldn’t," Khan told The Sports Daily. "So, how can you say that to a legend?
"Mike should be very happy that he still made it to that fight. A 60-year-old guy. Mike Tyson is old, and you can’t disrespect him—he still has a young heart, young mind, but you can’t really be disrespecting a champion like that.
"And I saw Logan Paul, man, asking, 'If you fight me, I’ll knock you out', and it’s wrong to say that to a legend. If it was a street fight, I think it’d be a different matter. Mike Tyson would eat him alive.
"These YouTubers are all a bunch of clowns, really. They're just hype jobs, all of them. They either want to fight people who are low below their weight class, or they want to fight someone who’s super old. Fight someone prime, fight someone at your own weight.
"These are YouTubers who were just a couple of years ago dressed up in costumes, you can’t be saying that to a champ like Mike Tyson because, at the end of the day, it disrespects the whole of the boxing community."
Logan Paul to fight Conor McGregor?
Mike Tyson has seemingly retired for good since calling out Logan Paul.
The WWE star is now being heavily linked to a fight with UFC legend Conor McGregor, who recently took to social media to reveal they will meet in an exhibition boxing bout, which will take place in India next year.
Nothing has been officially confirmed yet, but Paul has done everything he can to stir the rumors. The 29-year-old even used one of McGregor's famous sayings during a recent WWE press event.
Jake Paul has been chasing a fight with 'Notorious' for years. The 11-1 professional boxer reacted to the news his brother may face his dream opponent by claiming he had also been approached about the matchup.
"Now it all makes sense why Conor McGregor and his management team have been desperately trying to get MVP to negotiate for a fight between us," Jake Paul wrote on X to his 4.7million followers.
"As we told them privately & I'm now saying it publicly… The only way we're willing to explore me vs Conor in a pro boxing / MMA fight is if Dana White / UFC are at the table directly or make it clear they are ok with discussions.
"Conor is washed. Needs the Paul's. Logan by however he wants."
