Dana White has explained the reasons for Conor McGregor’s delay in making his UFC return. McGregor’s last fight was against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in 2021, as he sustained a broken leg. But following his USADA enrolment before their UFC departure, McGregor was keen on fighting this year. He announced his return on New Year’s Day for a fight on June 29 against Michael Chandler at 185 pounds.
