'What a weird strategy': Pros react to Brendan Allen's one-sided finish of Paul Craig

Brendan Allen certainly made his case for a No. 1 contender fight at 185 pounds after dominating Paul Craig from start-to-finish in Saturday's UFC Vegas 82 headliner.
Allen earned a third-round submission win over Craig in the main event of UFC Vegas 82 at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas. It was all Allen from the opening round, as he used a dominant grappling attack, along with mixing in some nasty elbows and ground-and-pound in order to chip away at the dangerous Craig before getting the tap.
Check out how UFC pros reacted to Allen's victory — and in some cases, Craig's game plan — following the bout.
Paul Craig is way to comfortable being taken down and held on his back. 10-9 Allen #UFCVegas82

Those elbows are the equalizer

20-18 Brendan Allen. Really thinking Paul Craig is straight up pulling a grappling Homer Simpson. Bold Strategy Cotton.#UFCVegas82

That's the only win that makes sense but by sub was the surprise

What a weird Strategy. I don't think Middleweight was the right move for Craig. Not a power puncher, very limited speed and durability on the feet. Just makes him a target for faster guys who's cardio won't fail. Good work @BrendanAllenMMA, fucking clean.
