Agit Kabayel is a real deal heavyweight contender.

If there were any doubts that Kabayel is one of the best in his division, he silenced them with a one-sided beatdown of Zhilei Zhang on Saturday at the Artur Beterbiev vs. Dmitry Bivol 2 event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Kabayel put constant pressure on the larger Zhang, relentlessly ripping his body before a punch to the torso put Zhang down for the count.

Kabayel (26-0) entered the bout as a slight favorite and he made the bout look like a mismatch as he never allowed Zhang (27-3-1) to get out of the gate. He was respectful of Zhang's power and used a high-volume attack to keep Zhang on the back foot and prevent him from letting his lethal left hand go.

Zhang scored a knockdown in Round 5 with his power left to add some drama to the contest, but Kabayel was quick to recover and looked like the fresher fighter by the end of the frame. He turned the heat up in Round 6 to put Zhang away for good.
