Video: Fighter tries Jorge Masvidal's flying knee, fails spectacularly

A Brazilian fighter tried Jorge Masvidal's flying knee, and it did not end well.

Iury Silva opened his fight with Xiko Loko by charging across the cage and going airborne, just like Masvidal did when he knocked out Ben Askren in five seconds to set a new UFC record.

Problem was, Loko was ready and waiting, and he clipped Silva with a shot that sent him to the canvas, apparently out cold. The time of finish? Four seconds, or one faster than Masvidal's famous knockout at UFC 239.

Check out the wild finish below (h/t MMA Junkie).

Loko vs. Silva took place Nov. 11 at Acesso MMA 3 in Fortaleza, Brazil. The bout served as Silva's professional debut, and unfortunately, he took several follow-up shots after hitting the canvas, the result of the referee being on the other side of the cage. The win was Loko's first as a professional.
