UFC 313 faceoff video: Justin Gaethje, Rafael Fiziev respectful in first rematch faceoff

LAS VEGAS – Almost two years after the first meeting, Justin Gaethje and Rafael Fiziev came together again Thursday ahead of their UFC 313 rematch.

Gaethje (25-5 MMA, 8-5 UFC) won the first meeting by majority decision in March 2023 in the Fight of the Night at UFC 286. Eager for revenge, Fiziev (12-3 MMA, 6-3 UFC) stepped in as a short-notice replacement for the injured Dan Hooker and will run things back in Saturday’s lightweight co-main event at T-Mobile Arena (ESPN+ pay-per-view, ESPNews/Disney+, ESPN+).

After answering questions from reporters at the pre-fight press conference, Gaethje and Fiziev once again had the chance to size each other up in their first fight week staredown.
