UFC bantamweight starRaul Rosas Jr. wouldn’t let a YouTube prankster leave the gym without making him pay for his costly mistakes.

Raul Rosas Jr. is back in the gym as he awaits his next UFC booking after a triumphant performance at UFC 306 in September. While an opponent hasn’t been named for Rosas’s next Octagon challenge, he’s expected to move closer to Top 15 consideration.

In the meantime, Rosas is hard at work on the mats and the cage in Las Vegas as he prepares for his next fight. During what was a routine training session earlier this week, Rosas was approached by YouTube star TopNotch Idiots near the treadmills, and the two quickly got into a heated dispute.

After a nearby coach warned the YouTuber that Rosas was a UFC fighter and to not aggravate him, Rosas dropped him with a left hook. The YouTuber then inexplicably challenged Rosas to a fight, and things didn’t go well for him.

Raul Rosas Jr. sleeps prankster after YouTube star taps

Rosas had his way with the prankster on his feet, dropping him again in the cage and getting his back on the ground. Rosas then concluded the session by forcing the YouTuber to tap to a submission, but after a few taps, Rosas wouldn’t let go and the prankster went unconscious.

Minutes later, the YouTuber revealed the good-natured intent of his actions, admitting that Rosas was a prank victim. Luckily, cooler heads eventually prevailed and Rosas embraced the prankster as they went separate ways.

The full video of TopNotch Idiots and Rosas went viral on Saturday and was an immediate hot topic on social media.

Raul Rosas Jr. makes YouTube star his latest victim amidst UFC win streak

Rosas has bounced back nicely since suffering his first professional defeat last year at UFC 287. After a loss to Christian Rodriguez, Rosas has won three straight fights, including a dominant victory over Ricky Turcios at UFC Louisville.

Rosas became the youngest signee in UFC history (17 years old) after a show-stopping performance on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2022. He would later become the youngest fighter to win in the UFC when he finished Jay Perrin in his promotional debut at UFC 282.

Rosas was supposed to face UFC castaway Muhammad Mokaev in a grappling match last month. But, the match was canceled due to undisclosed reasons.

Rosas has shown a lot of growth and maturity since his first MMA setback. A win over Aoriqileng at UFC 306 proved he has what it takes to eventually earn a Top 15 bantamweight spot.

Rosas isn’t the only UFC fighter involved in viral pranks. Ahead of his UFC 307 title challenge, Khalil Rountree Jr. pranked his teammate, convincing him that a person dressed in a Bigfoot costume was attacking them.
