Dustin Poirier says he will never fight Colby Covington. Poirier is coming off a defeat against UFC Lightweight Champion Islam Makhachev at UFC 302. It was another lightweight title defeat after similar losses to Khabib Nurmagomedov and Charles Oliveira. Poirier gave conflicting comments over whether he would retire. He first suggested he may retire if he could not secure title fights.
